Kate Frost
Kate Frost is an internationally bestselling author of romantic escape novels which include A Greek Island Escape, One Winter’s Night, An Island Promise, An Italian Dream, The Greek Heart and The Amsterdam Affair. She also writes character-driven women’s fiction (The Butterfly Storm series and A Love Like No Other), and has published Time Shifters, an award-winning time travel adventure trilogy for children. She has a MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, where she also taught lifewriting to creative writing undergraduates.
In 2021, Kate signed a six-book deal with Boldwood. Her first 6 books published by them became UK Kindle top 100 bestsellers with An Island in the Sun spending 14 weeks in the top 100 and reaching the top 20 overall. In 2024, A Greek Island Escape became an international bestseller and reached #5 in the whole of the UK Kindle chart, while One Winter’s Night was shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Romantic Novel of the Year Awards 2024. At the end of the year Kate signed a further six-book deal with Boldwood. Her books have been translated into Italian, Serbian and Dutch with further translation deals in the pipeline.
Kate lives in Bristol with her husband and son. As well as writing novels, she’s also the Co-director of Storytale Festival, a children’s book festival that she co-founded in Bristol in 2019 with the ethos of making books accessible to all and encouraging children and teens to read, write and be creative. Kate feels incredibly lucky to spend her days writing and being immersed in books.
